Institutions seeking approval to establish a UPRTOU study centre must satisfy specific physical infrastructure, financial, and learner capacity criteria.

  • Minimum Covered Area: The host institution must provide at least 500 sq. ft. of covered space for an office, classroom, library, and laboratory facilities.
  • Minimum Learner Capacity: The institution must guarantee enrolment for a minimum of 15 learners in its first year.
  • Application Fee for Extra Programmes: Existing non-governmental study centres applying to run additional programmes pay an application fee of Rs. 1,000 per application.
  • On-Site Inspection Fee: If an inspection committee visit is ordered by the Vice Chancellor, the institution must deposit an advance inspection fee of Rs. 10,000.
